Light Spotting and Pms Symptoms on Depo?

A question from Princess™: Light spotting and pms symptoms on depo?
I got on the depo shot for the 1st time last Wednesday today is the first day spotting and having pms symptoms. I don’t know when I’m supposed to get my period since I had a miscarriage last month and haven’t gotten my first period yet. Do you think I’m about to get my period? There is no chance that I’m pregnant.

Best answer:

Answer by S. Holley, single mom
well, in my experience with the shot, the 1st six months are going to be very abnormal, as far as your periods go. first there will be spotting in between periods and you never know when you will get one. But don’t give up on it. the 1st 6 mo. to a year were not cool for me. but after that i hardly had any periods. you will get pms symptoms from time to time, and the occasional period (maybe once or twice a year), but it still beats once a month. I was on the shot for 3 years.

Question by JD: Natural Treatment (or any treatment!) For PMDD?
Ok, so I REALLY need some help. I have the worst PMS/ PMDD ever! Its honestly ruining my life. For one week out of every month I’m a complete lunatic. Every little thing sets me off, I argue with everyone, I get severely, severely depressed and I just completely shut down. I’m either a raging maniac yelling at everyone or I get so depressed to the point where I don’t want to get out of bed and I just cry all day.

But when I’m not PMSing, I’m the complete opposite. I’m always really happy and cheerful and motivated and positive. I can’t live with this anymore. For example, today I got a really important business call that I have been anxiously waiting for for the last week and a half, but I ignored it because I was just too upset and depressed to answer! And then that depresses me even more…

I can NOT take prescription drugs like Zoloft or Paxil and other drugs like them. I tried that and it made things 1,000x worse. I tried birth control pills, which did help with the pms, but it gave me way too many negative side effects to be worth it.
I am all for natural remedies. So if anyone knows of something, please let me know! Or if you know of another way of treating pmdd thats not natural, I’d like to know about that, too. Just please, NO suggestions of prescription drugs and birth control pills. They just make things worse.

Serious answers ONLY, I am in no mood for BS!

Thanks! :)
lol! sorry, I don’t mean to sound scary. Good idea, though.

You sound really scary and like you’ll yell at me if I give you the wrong answer but….here goes-
I have read that eating bananas can prevent people from getting depressed so if you’ve tried everything else maybe you should try eating a banana once a day and see if it helps.

Question posed by : Is it normal to still have PMS symptoms a week after my period?
My period started on April 8th and ended on April 13th (my period lasts 6 days). It’s April 20th now and I’m still having PMS symptoms and I’m usually like this almost every month but it seems to be more worse this time (seems that way 2 me)..Is there something wrong with me? should I see a doctor? P.S. my period was only 2 days late

Top answer:

Answer by Love2
Remember February is only 28 days.

March is only 31 days.

April is 30 days.

So calculate and I’m sure you are just fine.
